Fun with Grandpa and Grandma Korte

We are home right now enjoying our month long home leave from Brazil. We are 2 weeks in and enjoying every second of our visit. After a short stop in Bettendorf, we headed South to Keokuk for a few days with my Mom and Dad. It was such a nice visit. We enjoyed just spending time together, but we did some fun things, too.

 

Here is Owen helping Dad water his flowers. Owen is a Grandpa's boy! He started saying "bampa" for both grandma and grandpa last week at their house.

 

Mom helped the boys make 4th of July chocolate covered strawberries. They looked really cool and tasted awesome. Isaac and Ethan love making things, so they really got into it.

Ethan is my little cooker. He is always ready to help in the kitchen.

 

We spent every afternoon at the pool. Here is Isaac jumping off the dive.

 

Ethan was a little hesitant at first about jumping off the dive. First he jumped off the wall in the deep end, then he jumped off the dive with me waiting at the bottom in the water, then he told me that he did not need me any more.

 

Grandpa had to join in the fun, too. I had to get a picture of that!

 

 

 

 

Meanwhile, Mom was playing with Owen in the baby pool. Owen loved playing with the water guns. Mom filled it up and he squirted it. He would giggle every time.

I liked hanging out in the baby pool, too!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Um, Dois, tres pula! The boys like to all jump in at once. So cute! They were counting in Portuguese.
