Weekend at Traci's

We had a fun time at Traci's house this weekend. The boys love their Aunt Trace and her puppy Libbi. They totally wore Libbi out with lots of walks and chasing her around the living room. They had several arguments over who's turn it was to walk Libbi.

These pictures are of us at Dairy Queen. After plans A, B and C failed for our plans on Saturday night, we ended up at Dairy Queen. You just can't beat a cool treat! Isaac ate every last bite of his ice cream cone and then worked on finishing Ethan's sundae. We topped the evening off by throwing rocks into Sailorville Lake. They boys could throw rocks and sticks in water for hours. They are so cute to watch.

We spent the day today at Reiman Gardens in Ames. It is beautiful! The boy's favorite activity was...you guessed it...throwing sticks in the ponds and fountains. They also had fun touching the water and putting their feet in. Every time that we left a fountain to walk some more Ethan would say "Bye Water".

Isaac enjoyed his first Tropical Sno with his Aunt Traci. We were talking about how Traci had them all the time in college and how I had only had a Tropical Sno one other time and Isaac says, "This is my first one!" We had to get a picture of his first Tropical Sno. We have a date for Isaac's 2nd one this Friday when Daddy is back from Germany.
