Scott and I decorated the kitchen with a Happy Birthday sign and lots of balloons. When he came into the kitchen in the morning he said, "You put those up for me?" It was so sweet. Then he got to pick what he wanted to eat for his birthday breakfast. He chose banana chocolate chip pancakes. They are his favorite these days.
It was a rainy Tuesday, so we just stayed home and did whatever Ethan wanted to do. He wanted to watch a movie and play with monster trucks. He, Owen and I had a fun day. Then when Isaac and Scott got home we went to Happy Joe's for pizza. They sang happy birthday to Ethan and made the siren go off. He smiled the whole time, but was a little embarrassed.
