After the 4th we took Cael home with us for a week, while Ethan went with the Winters. It was awesome to get more cousin time after being apart so long. Isaac and Cael camped in the back yard and went swimming at the pool. Their favorite event of the week was our visit to kids day at the John Deere Classic.
First stop was the kids center where they got all kinds of prizes. Here Cael is getting some putting pointers.

Owen gave the putting green a try, but that was it. He got all shy and had to be held by mommy.
The boys worked on their swing with a pro.
We watched some golfers tee off for their practice rounds. Wow! It is so fun to watch those awesome swings and see how far their balls go.
The highlight was definitely getting their hats signed by all the professional golfers. We found a sweet spot to stand by the 18th green, and almost every golfer would sign for them there. Even little Owen got right in line with the rest.
Cael and Isaac were able to get something like 35 signatures, several signed balls and Cael even got a signed glove, which he wore the rest of the week. So cute! The next day the boys decided to practice their drives in the spare lot. They were out there for a couple hours. I guess they were inspired. I hope so, because Scott and I want some golfing buddies!
