Isaac turned 8 on Monday. It was a GREAT day! We started out the day with his present and then his favorite breakfast, Superballs! Superballs are just like Cocoa Puffs. It is not a cereal that I let the kids eat in the States, but we do not have many choices here. Then we went to Portuguese class and skipped homeschool, so we had a fun, laidback morning. We played with all of Isaac's new presents. He is really into Beyblades, so he got a Beyblade stadium and some beyblades from his Grandma Karen and Grandpa Craig and the Winter Family. We also played with his new Wii game and DS game from Grandma Carol and Grandpa Craig. Isaac really liked all his presents. It was very thoughtful of everyone to get them here to us! We have such an awesome family.
Here Isaac is ready to open his present from us.
I think he likes it. The boys have played with it every day since. Ethan is Isaac's "helper" when they are building circuits. There are 300 projects, so it should keep them busy for a while.
We always go out to eat or do something special for everyone's birthday. When I asked Isaac what he wanted to do for supper on his b-day, he said that he would like to eat pancakes, eggs and bacon while watching a movie. He is our little homebody. It was really fun. We watched Ice Age 4.
Since I took a picture of Isaac with his plate, Owen wanted his picture taken with his, too. What a little cutie!
Isaac got his birthday present from Traci early when she visited. She gave him a skateboard, which I told him he would have to wait for until we returned from Brazil. Leave it to Aunt Traci to find a way to make it happen, she brought one all the way down here in her suitcase. Isaac was delighted. Isaac's big Brazillian Party is tomorrow, so there will be more pictures to come!
