Here is Ethan with his cute little foot wrapped up. We had to make a trip to the emergency room in Horizontina. I was playing volleyball with some of the other Logamann moms, which I do every Wednesday night. The boys love it because there is always a bunch of kids their age there to play with. They were all playing outside and all of a sudden Ethan comes in screaming. Scott was there, too, and when we took a look at Ethan there was blood everywhere. He had cut his heel and needed stitches. We had walked to volleyball, so we had to walk home. To make matters even more interesting, Owen picked this moment to load his diaper so much that it overflowed and we made the walk home with poop running down Owen's leg. Ahhh...the joys of children.
All the buildings here are made out of solid concrete with tile floors, so they echo terribly. Ethan was extremely upset by the prospect of stitches and was screaming almost the entire time. I think the entire hospital was wondering what happened to that poor little boy. They were probably thinking more than 3 stitches. Ethan is a strong, fiesty little guy. It took 5 of us to hold him down to get the stitches. Anyways, 40 minutes and $95 later we were out of there. That was a slightly lower bill than Isaac's 6 stitches he got 4 years ago, I think they cost $1200.
