Christmas is such a magical time. I love the extra time we focus on Christ and what His birth means to us, all the time with family, and the excitement of surprising each other with thoughtful gifts. We have started a tradition of celebrating at our house on Christmas Eve. We go to the Children's Mass at church and then head home to see if Santa made his way to our house.
The boys mostly willingly wore their suits to church. They looked so handsome, and I wanted a picture of them before they changed. Isaac was too fast for me! They look so cute together!
Love this one of Scott and I!
Mom and Dad joined us on Christmas Eve because, now that Traci has other family to ,they were left alone for the first time. It was super special to have them with us!
Awwww! How cute are they!
Another picture! The boys thought we took too many pictures!
Now on with the presents!
Isaac's favorite present was a pair of Lebron pants and sweatshirt. He wears them at least twice a week!
Ethan immediately put on all of his clothing presents. He is wearing his new shirt that is just like one Scott has (he had been wanting one for a long time) and his new Nike Elite shorts while eating the popcorn that the boys gave Scott and I. Love it!
Owen loves all things remote control! He was thrilled with his RC car that does flips!
I got new pajamas and a new robe. I love them! Pajamas are one of my favorite Christmas presents.
We had some fun appetizers and snacks for supper. The boys helped me make these cute and tasty penguins out of olives.
After supper we had some fun playing with our new stuff! The boys all went shopping for each other for the first time this year. It was so cute to see what they got each other. Grandma Karen helped Isaac and Ethan with their shopping. I had to just buy something for Owen to give because he can not quite grasp thinking of others yet. Ethan picked out this air hockey game for Isaac.
Each boy received a game. We played Ethan's game first, Family Challenge. This was a tight contest to see who could hold their legs and arms up the longest! Scott eventually won, and the contest lasted way longer than I would have expected. HeeHee!
The grand finale was fruit dipped in our chocolate fountain. We all love it! The boys get all messy, and yes, Ethan did get chocolate all over his brand new yellow shorts. A quick rinse saved the day. It was a fun end to a super evening!
